I Am a Happy Farmer and a Rescuer of Abandoned Olive Trees

The Presciuttini Olive Mill in Montefiascone is currently managed by Pierluigi, who grew up here amidst the olive groves.

His passion for these marvelous plants and the lands of Etruria drives him to dedicate himself with determination to the constant pursuit of agronomic improvements in olive tree management, always favoring sustainable cultivation with the belief that the natural quality of the product should come first.

For this reason, he currently oversees around 3000 olive trees, all rescued from abandonment, and from these, he produces excellent extra virgin olive oil (EVO) that has earned several awards and recognitions. It’s also featured in major global industry guides (Flos Olei, EVO-IOOC, Gambero Rosso, Bibenda, Maestrod’Olio).

The EVO oil named “…diNotte” received the Gold Medal in 2020 at the IOOC. This production was born from the idea of avoiding the harmful effects of sunlight, as the fruit benefits from it while on the tree, but once harvested, every second of exposure is detrimental. With just 6 hours of work between harvesting and extraction, a limited series of 1500 bottles is produced, aimed at a highly demanding and sophisticated audience that values unique and unrepeatable products.
