“Porta Francigena” is a network of 96 business and public-private accommodation facilities in Acquapendente, Proceno, and San Lorenzo Nuovo. Despite the diversity of industries and the different needs, these entities have recognized the importance of collaboration to achieve the common goal of attracting visitors and tourists to Acquapendente through integrated commercial solutions.

From its inception, the network’s mission has been the promotion of tourism. All interventions funded by the Lazio Region have been aimed in this direction: a dedicated website, interactive signage, audio and guides for the visually impaired, guides in sign language, the tourist kit (including a detailed hiking map), the Acquapendente guide, and the tourist card. Tourists can benefit from a comprehensive range of services provided by the businesses participating in the network.
