La Gentile agricultural company has been active for over 10 years, focusing on the cultivation of chestnuts, marrons, and hazelnuts. Starting from 2001, Nello Lupino, the founder of the company, aimed to give practical shape to the land inherited from his grandparents in the Valle di Vico, at the foothills of the Monti Cimini within a beautiful Natural Reserve.<\/p>\n

La Gentile has created sweet sauces (gianduia cream, jams, and breakfast spreads) as well as savory sauces and condiments for restaurants, catering, and families. Due to the success of these products, the company expanded its production by utilizing the fruits from its own garden and the bounties of its own woods: hazelnut pesto, porcini mushroom and hazelnut cream soup, artichoke and marron velout\u00e9, blackberry and blueberry creams, and much more.<\/p>\n

In recent years, the transformation of fresh produce from neighboring and fellow farmers in the Tuscia region has also become an important sector for the company. All of the company’s products are free from preservatives, artificial colors, emulsifiers, and gluten.<\/p>\n

The “La Gentile” Agriturismo derives its name from the highest quality of hazelnuts in their region and is nestled in nearly 30 hectares of chestnut and hazelnut trees. Located on the slopes of Monte Venere and overlooking the nearby Lake Vico, it offers visitors a scene of rare natural beauty. A farmhouse designed to welcome travelers seeking relaxation in an authentic and calming environment, just a stone’s throw from Lake Vico. Horses, dogs, and farm animals create the backdrop for the panorama that can be enjoyed from every corner of the Agriturismo. Besides being the owner, Nello is also the chef of the Agriturismo and the agricultural company.<\/p>\n

Nello has always had a passion for cooking, but above all for raw ingredients and the products his land offers in every season of the year. With 30 years of experience, he is a skilled and knowledgeable cook who manages to convey emotions and passion for his cuisine and his work.<\/p>\n
