Tourist welcome in Ronciglione

Tourist info

Pro Loco Infopoint

On a large tufaceous ridge in the southern part of the Monti Cimini, along the path of the “Via di Montagna” – the variant of the Via Francigena that crosses the Monti Cimini – lies the municipality of Ronciglione. The town was the winner of the 2023 edition of “Il Borgo dei Borghi”. The most credible hypothesis about the origin of its name derives from the resemblance that the cliff on which it stands would have to the shape of a billhook (roncola in Italian).

At Corso Umberto I 20, about 100 meters from the path of the Via di Montagna, you’ll find the infopoint managed by the local Pro Loco association, offering the following services:

  • restroom facilities;
  • conference room;
  • it’s not possible to purchase or stamp credentials.
