Tourist welcome in Piansano

Tourist office

Not far from Lake Bolsena, we discover the small and charming village of Piansano, nestled amidst green fields and woods. This delightful village has origins dating back to prehistoric times, as evidenced by the flint arrowheads found in the surrounding areas of the settlement. Not to be missed is the Clock Tower, adorned with the emblem of Piansano, and a short distance away is Palazzo Fabrizi, a 19th-century modification of the ancient medieval castle, where a small collection of Etruscan artifacts found in the area can be admired. Also located in the historic center is a splendid 18th-century Church. At the Town Hall, in Piazza dell’Indipendenza 17, we can find the Tourist Information and Welcome Office.
