The route winds through the streets of Viterbo’s city center, leading to a visit of the Castel D’asso Tower and the adjacent Etruscan necropolis.

The route is not challenging: it will mainly take place on secondary asphalt and dirt roads in the Viterbo countryside.

Upon arriving at Castel D’asso, you’ll explore the Etruscan tombs and enjoy a light snack (with local products). Continuing on gravel roads, you’ll reach the Santa Caterina lakes, a splendid untouched area just outside Viterbo.

On the way back to the city, you’ll pass by and visit the evocative Camillario Bridge of Roman origin, located in the thermal area of Viterbo.

The excursion will conclude with a tasty picnic featuring Tuscia’s specialties.
